This was the Community Clean Up 2022

This year’s Community Clean Up was a great success! Colleagues from various business units and airlines, local help alliance communities as well as children and young people from help alliance projects collected more than 2,400 bags of rubbish between 10 and 21 September! In total, more than 2,500 people from 26 countries took part in waste collection campaigns.

No matter if cigarette butts or car tyres – our committed colleagues found them everywhere and had a lot of fun with their actions, as you can see in the video below.

For every bag of rubbish collected, the Lufthansa Group makes a donation to the worldwide projects of help alliance. Therefore, help alliance is very grateful that this year’s Clean Up generated more than 10,000 euros in donations to support children and young people.

The entire help alliance team would like to thank the numerous participants and is already looking forward to the next Community Clean Up around World Clean Up Day on 16 September 2023!
